Saving Personalized Playlists

The first step to making personalized music part of the care routine is developing a playlist based on the listener’s preferences. The Building a Music Library resources introduces Amazon Music and provides detailed instructions on creating an organizationally-owned music library and personalized playlists.

Syncing Playlists via Amazon Music

Your organization can sync your Amazon Music account and purchased music to up to 10 tablets. The following lessons demonstrate how to sync music and download for offline listening:  

  

  • Sign into the Amazon Music App - When you log into your organization's Amazon account, purchased music will automatically sync to the device.
  • Download for Offline Listening - By downloading specific playlists or albums, care teams can listen without connectivity.
  • Refresh My Music - When you make new music purchases, they are instantly available on any device that's signed in to your account. Learn how to refresh your music to show all the latest purchases.



Access Your Music Library

The Amazon Music App is pre-installed on Care Team Tablets. Follow the steps below to sync music:


1. Sign In

Open the Amazon Music app, and sign in to your organization's Amazon account.

2. View 'My Music'

View purchased music by tapping on the My Music button at the bottom of the screen.


Download Playlists for Offline Listening

All music, including albums, songs, and playlists appear in the My Music section of the app. Follow the steps below to save a playlist for offline listening.


1. View Playlists

Tap the Playlists button to view all playlists.

2. Open a Playlist

Tap on a playlist name to view the songs and listening options.

3. Download a Playlist

Tap the Download button to save the songs for offline listening. Once downloaded, you do not need a Wi-Fi connection to listen to songs on that playlist.


Refresh My Music

New purchases sync to the Amazon Music app. If newly purchased musis is not showing in the app, follow the steps below to refresh the music library:

1. Open Settings 

Tap the See More button (three circles stacked vertically) and select the option for Settings.

2. Refresh Music

Slide to the bottom of the Settings Menu and tap the Refresh Music button.
