Setting Up a Care Team

Step-by-step instructions for setting up client profiles and assigning caregivers

Prior to getting other involved in engagement planning, managers must first set up care teams. Setting up a care team involves: 

  • Creating a client
  • Creating caregivers
  • Assigning caregivers to a clients

Creating a Client

Managers can view and add care recipients from the clients tab.

1. Add Button 

From the client section, tap the Add button.

2. Add Client 

Tap the Add Client button.

3. Add Client Photo

From the client creation page, tap the avatar icon to add a photo. The app will ask for permission to access your photos and then photos from your device will display as options.  

The photo field is optional. Adding a photo of the client to the engagement profile helps personalize the solution.

4. Add Client Details

Add client details.

When finished, tap the Create button.

Creating a Caregiver

Managers can view and add care recipients from the clients tab.

1. Add Button

From the caregiver section, tap the Add button.

2. Add Caregiver

Choose the option for Add Caregiver to set up a new caregiver account.

3. Add a Caregiver Photo

From the caregiver creation page, tap the avatar icon to add a photo. Photos from your device will display as options.  

The photo field is optional.

4. Add Caregiver Details 

Add caregiver details. Each caregiver must be assigned a unique PIN code. That code will be used to access client engagement profiles.

5. Select Caregiver Roles 

Each caregiver is assigned a role, which determines how they can use the app.  

  • The Caregiver Limited role enables caregivers to view client data, but prevent them from adding content.
  • The Caregiver Basics role enables caregivers to view client data and add moments.
  • The Caregiver Plus roles enables caregivers to view client data, add moments, and add photos.  


When finished, tap the Create button.

Assigning a Caregiver to a Client

Managers can view, add, and remove a client's caregivers. To start, open the Client profile.  

1. Open Client Profile

From the client profile, slide down the screen to view assigned caregivers.

2. Add Caregiver to Client

The caregivers that have been assigned to the client will display. Tap the Edit button to assign or remove caregivers.  

  

If there are no caregivers assigned to the client, an Add Caregivers button will display.

3. View Available Caregivers

A list of Current Caregivers will display. Slide down the screen to view Available Caregivers.

4. Assign a Caregiver

Tap the name of an available caregiver to assign to the client.

5. Confirm Assignment

A pop up message will display to confirm the caregiver assignment; tap "Confirm" to proceed.

6. Exit Caregiver Assignment View

The newly assigned caregiver will display in the Current Caregivers list. Continue adding caregivers, or tap the Done button in the upper right corner to exit.
